Introduction: Insulinoma a neuroendocrine tumour is diagnosed by inappropriately raised Insulin concentrations during a spontaneous or induced episode of hypoglycaemia. A provocative 72-h supervised fast is done to evaluate suspected inappropriate insulin secretion.
